The hair density was also lower in male patients with hair loss (9.6% and 16.4%, respectively) than in those with no hair loss (8.4%, p < 0.001) or in the vertex sides (5.6%, p = 0.002).
Conclusion:Finasteride for hair loss in male pattern balding may be used as a treatment option for male pattern baldness.
